I’ve heard there are people out there who don’t care so much for chocolate. Who don’t have a sweet tooth, who have no problem avoiding dessert.
I don’t care how many months I go without sugar, gluten, or dairy — plop me down in front of a homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting…
Aaaaand it’s over. The carrot cake wins every time.

Our favorite (right now) healthy dessert recipes
5. Vegan Neapolitan Mini Cheesecake. This recipe has lot of ingredients and even more prep steps. But we chose it because it’s one of the only vegan cheesecake recipes we found that doesn’t rely on tofu as the main ingredient. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that… unless you’re soy-free like us.) From Healthy Eating Jo.
6. Raw Chocolate Hazelnut Bliss Bites. This is a favorite technique of ours. You can make sweet little balls like this with any combination of nuts, cacao, coconut oil, and dates. We chose this recipe because of its simplicity, and well… chocolate. From Earthy Andy.
Elana’s Pantry is the winner for clean treats. She specializes in Paleo baking, and her dessert page is off the chain. Not a ton of nut-free options here, but if you’re okay with that, you’ll never run out of dessert options again.
